With over 15 years of experience working with tourists, volunteers, and international non-government organizations, CLP-Nepal is one of the best, grass-roots organisations for effective language instruction and cross cultural training, whether for business or for personal enrichment.

Cross Cultural Learning Point (CLP)-Nepal is a registered Nepali language and cultural training center run by competent professionals with extensive experience working with foreign nationals. CLP-Nepal is established to provide language and cultural training to people who come to Nepal for different purposes: as development workers, professionals, expatriates, volunteers, students, researchers, or tourists.
We provide Nepali language courses (basic to advanced) and cultural orientation that enables one to live and work in Nepal effectively. We have worked with various individuals on short and long-term bases, and we have also conducted intensive training programs for the following organizations: VSO (Voluntary Services Overseas), World Youth Australia, and DFID (Development for International Development).
We have language and cultural programs for both basic and advanced learners. The period and content of the course could vary depending on learners’ need.
For basic learners, we offer one to twelve-week long intensive language and cultural training programs.
For advanced learners, we can design courses to meet the individuals’ needs.
Family stay
If you want to stay with a Nepali family for the first hand experience of Nepali culture and language, we arrange family stays of two to four weeks depending on learners’ need.
Cultural tours
We arrange guided visits to cultural sites, temples, monasteries, historic sites, cultural events, hiking and trekking activities.

Mr. Udaya Neupane is the Executive Director of CLP-Nepal and is a professional language trainer for visitors to Nepal. Udaya has a Masters Degree in Political Science from Tribhuvan University. Over the last 15 years, Udaya and his colleagues has taught for such organizations as the U.S. Peace Corps Nepal, German Development Service (DED), Miami College Program, and Oxfam, Voluntary Service Overseas UK, and the Department for International Development (DFID) UK.
